Here is the Micro G Valsetz review:
Under Armour Micro G Valsetz Side Zip Review (Under Armour Tactical Boots Review) - ua-cam.com/video/5y8nXZ9wCWg/v-deo.html
So, overall, I love these new Under Armour combat boots. They are very comfortable, lightweight and the waterproofing is very impressive. There are a lot of UA tactical boots out there, but my favorite ones were always Valsetz and I think the Charged Valsetz have definitely been improved. I'm sure a lot of people will agree with me, since one of the main search phrases for Under Armour boots is "Under Armour tactical boots Valsetz."
So, what do you guys think about this Under Armour Valsetz review? Let me know in the comments below! Thanks for watching! God bless!

    Salomon its sintetic, its very shocking coloring, one mille of distance and everybody now you have a salomon. This is better by the materials and nobody sees your shoes 1 mile distance jajajaja

      Its true, Salomon has some crazy colors... its good if you need to be rescued. but for stealth, not really. They do have the Forces lineup though specifically dedicated for tactical/combat stuff in subtle colors and with non-reflective patterns.

    I have had three pairs of these and sadly they aren't worth the hype. Dozen's of long uncut threads inside. The sole material is almost a hard plastic and wears out quickly. The sole has hardly any grip at all. The vents( elastic) blows out in weeks and the insole sucks. These shoes might be "dope" for all the tier one operators who are getting them for that deep behind enemy lines marine op... and can treat them like the are disposable...but if you are paying between 105.00 and 170.00 for these things you are getting hosed. They are literally disposable. 2-3 months tops before they are smooth on the bottom and done. I have been using the Salomon Speed Assault 2 and the Inov8 trail fly G 270 for a couple of years. Both are excellent. If I need them to be water "proof" I wear a Rocky gore tex sock. Both are light, deep lugs/grip and drain/dry quickly. On the Speed assault 2 I replaced the insole with an older pair from my inov8's. The Salomon insole retains water.

    Thanks for the review which is really helpful. Just wanna check if there is any notable difference between a standard vs. wide style of Newton Ridge Plus II. I would say I have a standard foot (width of foot) but so may prefer a wide style for greater comfort but unfortunately choices in say eBay for new Newton Ridge Plus II hiking boots are mostly if not all of standard model. Your comments will be appreciated.

      @UltimateSurvivalGear 9 днів тому

      Thanks for watching! I have not had a chance to try out the wide version, so I can't answer that, but to me personally the standard version allows for enough room in the toe box. Definitely roomier compared to something like Salomon Ultra 3.

    Great review and I totally agree with you on all points. I have purchased these about 6 mo. ago and have put on a good 100miles of trail and I have yet to see any down sides to the boot. Another thing I would add to what you have said is that the base boot stability is better than what you would expect from a boot that weighs in at 15.5 oz. Most boots are very flimsy and unsupportive. These have amazed me with support. As well the width of the rubber sole heel section is wider than most boots and with this there are less chances for twisted ankles when hiking on angled ground. Love these boots and I will soon be purchasing another pair.

    Wouldn't you be better off with a wind shirt and grid fleece for 99% of the stuff you described in the video? The Proton and its sibling jacket the Atom, are way too hot for active use unless its really cold, like below freezing, and at that point they aren't warm enough for static use, so you end up needing a layering system anyway. So why bother? If you do a lot of climbing get a Techface or softshell, its way more durable then "Fortius 20". If you want a breathable mid, a Patagonia R1 will be about 8x as breathable as either the Proton or Atom. And if you need wind protection, get a windbreaker. You can get an Alpha 90 fleece and a wind jacket like the Houdini for half the price and weight of a Proton. But yeah, marketing and such...

    You have to try them on and really pay attention to fit/feel. I have Salmon Quest 4 GTX hiking boots. They are five years old used for lots of hiking/backpacking and they are excellent in every way. I bought these X Ultra Pioneer Mid to use in spring/fall fast hiking. Unfortunately, they are not nearly as good. I find the sole too thin. I can easily feel roots and small rocks underfoot. The collar is too stiff. This design combined a tongue which I find not wide enough, I cannot secure the boots as I want around my ankle. Adding to this and partly because of this, my left heel slips/rubs enough that in a day my heel becomes quite sore and swollen. I thought the boots felt fine in the shop but when out wearing for a couple weeks these issues came to light. I hope I can sell them and recoup some of my money to buy something more fitting.

    I'm 99% US 9,5 in adidas. These in US 9.5 were too tight I had to return. They are way to snug in the midfoot area even with laces loosened.
